City of London Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Contract:

Permanent Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of a highly regarded international law firm.

This varied role will provide exposure across Accounts Payable, expenses, reconciliations and general accounting, working closely with the Senior Accounts Assistant and wider Finance team.

• Supporting the Accounts Payable function and processing expenses
• Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing accounting journals and assisting with VAT returns
• Supporting client and office account payments
• Assisting with financial reporting and audit requirements
• Providing general support across the Finance team

• 6-12 months' accounts experience within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong Excel and IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proactive, positive and confident working as part of a team
• Keen to learn and develop within finance
