Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well-established property services business who are seeking an organised and dependable Accounts Assistant to join its growing team on a part-time basis up to 24 hours a week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy and would like to become part of a friendly and supportive team.

Please note this role is fully office based so must be happy to commute.

The Role

Working closely with the accounts and property management teams, you will provide day-to-day support across a range of financial and administrative activities.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing invoices and supplier payments
  • Recording and allocating payments accurately
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring outstanding payments and following up where appropriate
  • Responding to routine accounts and payment queries
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and financial documentation
  • Supporting general administration within the accounts department
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure financial processes run smoothly
About You
  • Experienced in an accounts, bookkeeping, finance or administrative position
  • Confident handling invoices, payments and financial information
  • Numerate with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or similar
  • A clear, professional and friendly communicator
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
  • Previous experience within property, estate agency, block management or a similar environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
