CORPORATE TAX MANAGER

Central London or West London location

GPN Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm that is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team with an experienced Corporate Tax Manager .
The firm has built an excellent reputation for providing a high-quality service to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a supportive and commercially focused environment where they can take genuine ownership of their client portfolio and play an important role in the continued growth of the tax team.
Key Responsibilities:
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will have a broad role across both corporate tax compliance and advisory , with an approximate 60% compliance / 40% advisory split.
Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients from a variety of sectors
Reviewing and overseeing corporation tax computations and returns
Providing corporate tax advice and identifying tax planning opportunities
Supporting clients with ad hoc corporate tax queries
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Reviewing work completed by more junior members of the team
Assisting Partners with more complex advisory projects
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
Contributing to the continued development of the firm's corporate tax offering
Qualifications & Skills:
CTA qualified
Currently operating at Corporate Tax Manager level
Strong corporate tax compliance experience
Experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients
Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax
Advisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills
Confident reviewing work and supporting more junior members of the team
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
