An established independent firm of accountants, based in the City of London, is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join its successful tax team.
With an impressive private client portfolio and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality tax advice, the firm offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take greater ownership of their career.
Importantly, this position offers a clear pathway to Associate Director within six months, subject to performance.
The OpportunityThis is more than a traditional Tax Manager role. Alongside managing an established portfolio of personal tax clients, you will play an influential role in developing the department and supporting its continued growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of private clients, overseeing compliance and advisory matters.
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members.
- Mentoring and developing staff.
- Building strong client relationships and identifying additional advisory opportunities.
- Working closely with partners to drive departmental growth and business development.
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the tax function.
Ideally CTA qualified, you will have substantial private client tax experience gained within an accountancy practice, alongside proven portfolio management and team leadership skills. You will be commercially minded, confident in your technical abilities and motivated to contribute beyond your immediate client responsibilities.
