OverviewThe Premier League Studios Office Services team seeks a Facilities Assistant to support the operations of a new, purpose‑built facility at Olympia London. This role supports day‑to‑day facilities operations, working closely with the Senior Office Manager and Workplace Manager. The Facilities Assistant will ensure the site runs smoothly, safely and professionally, and support a high‑performing, welcoming environment.
The Role- Ensure the FM office is always staffed, monitoring building systems, CCTV and access control systems.
- Assist staff with the set‑up of meeting rooms, tea points, workstations and backstage rooms.
- Assist the IT team by reporting and supporting the resolution of technical issues in the work spaces.
- Greet and supervise external contractors, monitoring their service levels.
- Ensure all meeting rooms, tea points, client spaces and On‑Screen team rooms are presentable and clean.
- Complete site inspections and maintain accurate H&S logs.
- Complete an effective handover between Facilities Assistant shifts.
- Assist with updating the office services pages on the staff intranet.
- Assist the Senior Office Manager and Lead Facilities Assistant in maintaining Health and Safety standards.
- Support fire safety processes, evacuations and staff training.
- Champion a positive inclusive work culture, responding to staff needs and driving improvements.
- Assist with day‑to‑day operations under the Senior Office Manager, ensuring efficient and high‑standard service.
- Complete workplace stock audits of consumables and office supplies.
- Assist with placing restock orders with suppliers.
- Assist with placing catering orders for the team and set‑up.
- Be proactive and communicate effectively with the Facilities team.
- Support all meeting rooms, contractor and guest bookings, checking the shared calendar regularly.
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to operational workflows and the workplace environment.
- Previous experience on reception desks in corporate environments, hospitality or customer service.
- Interest in Facilities Management.
- Logical, proactive problem solver.
- Good communication, verbal and written.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Hardworking, professional, able to multi‑task and prioritise.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Attention to detail and track building relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
