Eligibility

This vacancy is only available to existing Civil Servant employees and employees of accredited non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs). Please review the "Eligibility" section before you apply.
Opening:
AO – the role is permanent, full time, cross government, based in London (102 Petty France). Working pattern is hybrid; you will need to attend 102 Petty France two days per week. Reserve list: 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately scan, log and store incoming correspondence using the department’s case management system.
- Draft clear, empathetic, respectful replies to MPs, external organisations and members of the public, using policy-cleared lines.
- Manage your own caseload, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of written and oral communication.
- Collaborate with team members and senior officials to improve processes and achieve targets.
- Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Contribute to corporate initiatives and undertake additional duties as appropriate.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills across multiple channels.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities, with proven experience meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise proactively and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
- High standard of written English, including grammar, spelling and punctuation.

- Hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 60% office time at 102 Petty France.
