Are you an organised Commercial Assistant looking to support one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes?
Do you have experience providing commercial or project administration support within rail, infrastructure, or construction?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major HS2 Rail Systems programme, providing vital support to the commercial team and helping ensure the smooth delivery of commercial processes across a complex infrastructure project.
You'll be responsible for:
· Providing administrative support to the commercial team, including organising meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
· Maintaining commercial documentation, trackers and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Supporting the preparation of commercial reports, presentations and project documentation.
· Assisting with the administration of commercial agreements, approvals and sign-off registers.
· Monitoring project costs, budgets and financial performance data.
· Maintaining commercial management systems and ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
· Supporting risk and opportunity tracking across the commercial function.
· Acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day commercial and administrative queries.
· Supporting compliance with commercial procedures, governance requirements and audit processes.
You'll need:
· Previous experience as a Commercial Assistant, Commercial Administrator, Project Administrator or Project Support Officer within construction, infrastructure or rail.
· Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Experience supporting commercial or project teams with documentation, reporting and data management.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience using document management systems is desirable.
· Previous experience supporting HS2, Network Rail or major UK infrastructure projects is highly desirable
