Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including diary and inbox management, call handling, and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare, format, amend, and proofread documents, presentations, correspondence, and client materials.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, meetings, events, and hospitality requirements.
  • Manage expense claims, time recording, and assist with billing activities.
  • Support matter management processes, including conflict checks, matter opening, compliance requirements, and file administration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their assistants, acting as a key point of contact where required.
  • Assist with client events, business development activities, and networking initiatives.
  • Provide wider team support and undertake additional administrative duties as required.

Key Skills:

  • Legal PA/ Secretary experience from a city law firm.
  • Professional and personable, with strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent experience in working with long documents.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using document management systems.
  • Fast and accurate typing with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work independently, collaboratively, and adapt to changing demands.
