EVENT ASSISTANT | CENTRAL LONDON | £32,000 | PERMANENT

Are you organised, detail-focused and looking to build your career in events?

We're working with an established events company specialising in high-quality cybersecurity events across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Following an internal promotion, they're looking for an Event Assistant to join their team and support the delivery of both in-person and virtual events.

Central London - office-based
Potential for some hybrid working once established
£32,000 basic salary
Permanent, full-time
Target start date: 1 October 2026
Some UK and international travel required

What will you be doing?
  • Working with sponsors to collect event deliverables
  • Updating systems and websites with sponsor information
  • Responding to sponsor queries and sending event communications
  • Creating lists and templates for sponsor and delegate teams
  • Preparing event graphics, documents and social media banners
  • Coordinating printing and delivery of event materials
  • Sending sponsor agreements and invoices and chasing payments
  • Managing event resources, equipment and supplies
  • Organising travel and getting equipment to and from venues
  • Printing badges, signage and event documentation
  • Preparing and testing event equipment
  • Supporting virtual events
  • Attending UK and international events and helping with on-the-day delivery
  • Completing post-event administration and follow-up
What are they looking for?

This role would suit someone who enjoys being organised, keeping on top of detail and making sure everything gets done when it needs to.

You'll need:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple events and priorities
  • Confidence coordinating with different stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, helpful approach and willingness to learn

No previous events experience is essential - full training will be provided.
