We are looking for an organised, proactive and highly motivated Innovation Coordinator to join our Innovation Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of healthcare innovation, supporting the delivery of programmes that help bring new ideas, technologies and approaches into health and care settings. You will play a vital role in ensuring innovation projects run smoothly, stakeholders remain engaged, and teams have the information and support they need to deliver meaningful impact.

The Opportunity

Reporting to a Director of Innovation, the Innovation Coordinator will support the effective operation of UCLPartners' Innovation Unit and contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of innovation programmes and activities.

You will work closely with colleagues across the Innovation Unit and wider UCLPartners teams, helping to coordinate processes, maintain project and portfolio information, support stakeholder engagement activities and facilitate effective programme delivery. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional organisational skills and wants to contribute to improving healthcare through innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of innovation projects, programmes and work streams, ensuring activities are well organised, documented and delivered effectively.
  • Provide day‑to‑day project coordination, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project plans and documentation, tracking actions and supporting reporting processes.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions and innovation events, ensuring effective administration and follow‑up actions.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, reports and presentations to support programme delivery and decision‑making.
  • Support portfolio tracking, performance reporting and bid coordination activities across the Innovation Unit.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases, CRM systems and project records to ensure information remains accurate and accessible.
  • Act as an operational point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing professional and responsive support.
  • Support financial administration activities, including invoice processing, monitoring expenditure and maintaining financial records.
  • Assist with innovation workshops and engagement activities, including planning, logistics, facilitation support and evaluation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across UCLPartners, including Corporate Services teams, to support the successful delivery of innovation programmes and events.

You will bring:

  • Experience providing administrative, project coordination or operational support in a professional environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, events or stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Confidence managing information, documentation and reporting processes.
