The Bank of England is looking for an experienced Executive Personal Assistant to join the Court Reviews team within its Secretarys Department. Youll provide the full range of executive PA, administrative and secretarial support to the Heads of Division, balancing your support fairly between them, and help keep the office running smoothly. The role is confidential and suits someone with sound judgement who can work independently and build strong relationships across the Bank.
Keyresponsibilities
- Lead on diary, inbox and correspondence management, and arrange meetings and events.
- Produce minutes or records of meetings when the Director asks, share the outcomes and make sure follow-up actions are completed.
- Develop thorough working procedures for the office, including setting up and maintaining filing systems, and make sure processes are followed.
- Manage office moves and desk allocation.
- Handle a wide range of internal and external stakeholders independently and appropriately, treating confidential matters with discretion.
- Build relationships with other business areas and earn a reputation for high-quality, dependable work.
- Work with the wider Directorate team to deliver work effectively, including providing cross-cover.
- You have proven experience as an Executive PA supporting senior leaders, ideally more than one at a time.
- You have strong IT skills and excellent diary, inbox and meeting management, and can prioritise competing demands.
- Youre confident taking accurate minutes and following actions through to completion.
- Youre highly organised and have put office processes and filing systems in place before.
- Youre discreet and trustworthy, with the judgement to act on your own initiative.
- You communicate well and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Youre a team player whos happy to provide cross-cover when needed.
- Youre able to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance.
