We are recruiting for a Creative Assistant job in London with a successful Arts and Media Entrepreneur, owner of a fast-growing start-up with a diverse portfolio of brands. As the business expands, they are building their team and looking for someone to work across all areas of the company. One day you could be scouting a film location, the next researching land for a new hotel or editing a script.
No two days are the same, which is what makes this such a unique and interesting role.
This is a genuinely creative role, so we are looking for a Creative Assistant with a passion for the arts, whether that is theatre, ballet, film, literature or music. You will work alongside the Senior Creative Assistant, who is currently juggling projects, including film, online fashion, a book, charity work and several websites.
The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter and a doer, with excellent written and spoken English, a strong work ethic and a calm, adaptable approach when priorities change. Experience, or a strong interest, in the creative industries and business development is important.
The team works on Apple Mac, InDesign and a wide variety of packages, so a quick learner who is confident with technology will thrive. Skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, the Adobe Suite and Final Draft are beneficial. Fully office based, Bond Street, London.
Hours:
9am to 5pm
- Holiday: 28 days’ including bank holidays
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing general Creative Assistant administrative duties and creative support
- Managing correspondence across several inboxes and coordinating diaries
- Taking meeting notes, action tracking
- Maintaining contact databases and filing systems
- Creating presentations, pitch decks, proposals and promotional materials
- Editing photographs, typesetting and building mood boards to support design work
- Supporting website design, copy, updates and consistent branding
- Researching audiences, competitors and market opportunities to shape concepts
- Contributing ideas for campaigns, events, products and customer experiences
- Formatting scripts and screenplays in Final Draft
- Helping organise shoots (UK and abroad), including schedules and location research
- Liaising with production companies, crew, suppliers and collaborators
- Drafting press releases and external communications
- Tracking and reporting on project schedules and deadlines
