Join a reputable car dealership in Wimbledon as a Workshop Controller and take your automotive career to the next level. Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking dealership, is seeking a skilled Workshop Controller to lead their busy service department. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to work within a supportive and progressive environment that values staff development and excellence in customer service.

Duties
  • Overseeing day‑to‑day workshop operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high standards of service
  • Managing and motivating technicians to achieve targets and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Tracking vehicle progress within the workshop and liaising with Service Reception to keep customers informed on repair status
  • Ensuring operational procedures comply with dealership standards and maximise workshop profitability
  • Supporting team development through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews
  • Upholding high levels of customer service and communication throughout the service process
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a supervisory role within the automotive service environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate personnel
  • Technical background or experience in service advisory is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills and a customer‑focused approach
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proactive attitude and dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and service
