IMI Level 3 Electric Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an independent garage, who are seeking an experienced IMI Level 3 Electric Vehicle Technician to support increasing demand for EV servicing and repairs. This is a key role within the workshop, working directly on high‑voltage EV systems.

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Safely remove, replace, and recommission high‑voltage components.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and system testing.
• Ensure all EV work complies with IMI Level 3 safety standards.
• Support and guide junior or Level 2 technicians.
• Complete detailed job cards and technical reports.

• IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience working on EV or hybrid vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
