Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Senior Procurement Lead to join our Third Party Management and Procurement Team in London. This role will focus on leading the Outsourcing category comprising major servicing subcategories. It's a unique opportunity to build on your entrepreneurial and commercial expertise, help deliver Wise’s mission of money without borders, and grow within a global, fast‑paced listed company environment while ensuring our key deals deliver the best value for money for Wise.

AboutThe Role
- Develop and execute long‑term procurement strategies that align with Wise's business objectives, including market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Proactively build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders and facilitate regular cross‑departmental meetings.
- Lead efforts to achieve cost reductions and optimisation of spend across categories, utilising analytical and financial skills to assess total cost of ownership and budget impact.
- Evaluate and support selection of suppliers, utilising robust criteria for quality, price, and reliability.
- Contribute to onboarding, relationship management, and off‑boarding of third‑party suppliers, supporting tooling selection and continuous improvements.
- Help monitor and evaluate third‑party relationships to ensure they provide tangible value to Wise and its customers.
- Identify opportunities for consolidating suppliers, renegotiating contracts, or initiating new proposals (RFPs).
- Develop and implement supplier performance metrics and scorecards, leading initiatives for supplier improvement and innovation.
- Assist in creating risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions and support contingency planning.
- Stay up to date on sustainable and ethical sourcing initiatives to enhance Wise's reputation and compliance.
- Advocate for and implement innovative procurement technologies and automation to increase efficiency.
- Mentor and develop procurement team members, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations while promoting integrity and transparency.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices to improve Wise's procurement processes and strategy.

About you:
- Experience in leading and developing commercial strategies within the financial services or fintech industry; preference for experience with major outsourcing services at a global scale.
- Proven track record of delivering and exceeding commercial targets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to advise, manage and report risks effectively, providing practical solutions.
- Experience with sourcing tools, market analysis and end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- Demonstrable ability to evaluate and summarise complex sourcing scenarios and influence stakeholders.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- A get‑it‑done, collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
