About Our Client
Our client delivers ethical, collaborative property partnerships across the Construction and Living Markets. With a strong public sector footprint and a clear growth strategy, they are focused on winning high-quality work through evidence-led, compliant and well-structured bids — not volume submissions.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Writer to play a pivotal role in securing public sector and institutional frameworks, particularly within Local Authority Purchase & Repair and capital works programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the preparation and submission of PQQs, SQs, ITTs, DPSs and framework bids
* Write high-scoring method statements, quality responses and social value submissions
* Ensure all tenders are fully compliant with instructions, evaluation criteria and deadlines
* Coordinate inputs from operational, commercial, finance and H&S teams
* Support bids across Purchase & Repair programmes, including acquisition support, void refurbishments, compliance works and KPI-led delivery
* Prepare submissions for capital works frameworks covering planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit, voids and Decent Homes works
* Maintain bid trackers, timelines and submission governance
* Review and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency and scoring alignment
* Build and manage a central bid library including case studies, CVs, policies and accreditations
* Analyse feedback and drive continuous improvement in bid quality and win rates
* Ensure submissions accurately reflect current accreditations (e.g. Construction line, CHAS, ISO)
* Support framework audits, refreshes and re-submissions
Skills & Experience
* Proven Bid Writer or Proposal Writer experience within construction, property, housing or public sector services
* Strong understanding of public sector procurement and framework bidding
* Excellent written English with the ability to produce clear, persuasive and structured responses
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and deadline management
* Confident working cross-functionally with senior operational stakeholders
* Experience with Purchase & Repair, capital works or housing frameworks (desirable)
* Familiarity with procurement portals and evaluation methodologies (desirable)
Why Join Our Client
* A key role within a growing, multi-disciplinary property and construction group
* Direct involvement in securing long-term public sector frameworks and programmes
* Flexible part-time or full-time working options
* Competitive salary and benefits package
* Hybrid working in a supportive, professional environment
This is a role for someone who believes quality wins work and wants to be part of a business that values structured thinking, collaboration and doing things properly
