A market-leading, well-respected and Global Lloyd's Reinsurance Broker, are now seeking a Reinsurance Contract Wordings Specialist within the successful team.
Within your new company, their Advisory-led broking model focuses on client advocacy and delivering value through expert advice. In reinsurance, high-quality contracts are essential: even the best brokers, modellers, or claims teams cannot protect the business if the contract fails. The contract is ultimately enforceable in law, and recent trends—such as social inflation and increased regulatory scrutiny—have highlighted the risks of errors and omissions.
Currently, contract production lacks formal governance. Brokers and TAMs draft, negotiate, and use contracts with varying technical expertise, creating inconsistency and potential exposure. A dedicated Contract Governance function ensures contracts are legally sound, compliant, and aligned with market best practice, protecting both clients and the firm.
About the RoleWe are a forward-thinking, innovative broker seeking a Reinsurance Wordings Specialist to join our growing team. This role focuses on Facultative and Treaty Reinsurance solutions, helping clients manage and structure their risk through tailored multi-line, multi-year, and direct or Facultative solutions. Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and quality-check reinsurance documentation (binders, slips, contracts, I&L agreements, NDAs, assignments).
