A highly respected international law firm is looking for a Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join its London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, influence commercial decision‑making, and contribute to strategic initiatives that directly impact the firm's financial performance.
Responsibilities of the role:In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting commercial strategy and client‑level profitability. You will work closely with partners and senior leaders while developing best‑practice processes used across the wider network.
- Advising senior stakeholders on pricing strategies and client profitability using data‑driven insights
- Managing a portfolio of clients from a commercial perspective, identifying opportunities to add value beyond standard rates
- Conducting financial analysis for pitches, onboarding, and client maintenance
- Maintaining and improving pricing and client data within finance systems
- Creating and refining pricing best‑practice processes for colleagues across the global network
- Producing commercial reports to support long‑term planning and profitability targets
- Supporting operational improvement projects through data analysis and system enhancements
- Handling pricing and commercial queries efficiently and helping to streamline processes
- Reviewing commercial terms for new and existing client arrangements
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
You’ll be a detail‑driven, analytical thinker with proven experience in financial or commercial analysis, ideally within professional services or B2B environments. You’ll be confident communicating insights to senior stakeholders and comfortable working with complex data sets.
Key strengths include:- Experience in pricing within B2B or professional services
- An accounting qualification is a plus but not essential
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate clear, actionable insights
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders through credible, data‑backed recommendations
- Excellent communication skills for both financial and non‑financial audiences
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem‑solving
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with teams across the business
