About the RoleAs an Account Executive Intern, you’ll work closely with our founder and sales team, contributing directly to the early‑stage growth of Kodgav. This is a 4‑month internship starting in March/April 2026, with flexible hours (10–15 hours per week) to fit around your academic commitments. The internship is unpaid, but reasonable expenses such as travel and meals during in‑person sessions will be reimbursed.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in B2B and international sales, as well as agrifood commodity trading, setting you up for future career success.
We are looking to work with university students seeking a placement/internship. Ideally located near the University of East London, Greenwich University, Ravensbourne University, SOAS, UCL, Goldsmith's University, and surrounding areas for periodic in‑person meetings.
Who You Are- Currently enrolled in a UK/EU university (preferably pursuing a master’s degree) in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Open to 2nd-year to masters students with a strong interest in international business and sales.
- International sales processes and discovery methodologies.
- B2B sales strategies.
- CRM software, prospecting software, and AI‑assisted tools.
- The agri‑food industry and commodity trading basics.
- Compliance standards and best practices in the food industry sales.
- Communication and negotiation techniques to build strong customer relationships.
- Learn and execute the sales processes outlined in Kodgav’s training manual, with a focus on prospecting, discovery, and quote stages.
- CRM Administration.
- Sales prospecting and lead qualification using CRM and prospecting tools.
- Draft outreach emails and follow‑ups to engage potential customers.
- Prepare sales quotes and maintain accurate data in CRM systems.
- Attend optional in‑person strategy sessions with the team, 1-2 times per month (Greenwich or London).
- Support research into market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs.
- Gain a letter of recommendation upon completion.
- Hands‑on coaching from an award‑winning founder.
- Develop expertise in cutting‑edge CRM, prospecting, and AI tools.
- Build a strong foundation for a career in sales, commodity trading, and the food industry.
