Role Overview
The team at CCGS comprises consultant urological, plastic and gynaecological surgeons leading a multidisciplinary team of Nurse Specialists, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Psychologists, Anaesthetists and Endocrinologists. The service is supported by a Junior Service Manager, Deputy General Manager covering Gender Health and three patient pathway coordinators who will be the first point of contact for service users and provide administrative support to the clinical team.
The role is pivotal, providing all necessary administrative support to the Gender Affiliation Surgery (GAS) service. The post holder ensures the interests of the Trust are represented in a professional manner, acting as an ambassador at all times.
- Provide comprehensive patient‑focused administrative and secretarial support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Support the Gender Affiliation Surgery service, including document preparation, scheduling and coordination.
- Act as the first point of contact for service users and provide administrative support to the clinical team.
- Maintain confidentiality and represent the Trust professionally.
- Work autonomously and as part of a team, undertaking a wide range of administrative duties.
- Proven experience working in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, adaptability and a flexible approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
