About the Man Group Veteran Transition ProgrammeDuring the six‑month programme, you will work on professional assignments aligned with your skills and interests, while receiving dedicated coaching to support your transition into a civilian working environment. You will also benefit from internal mentoring and access to Man Group’s extensive professional network.

Purpose of the roleWorking in the CAO office on business management and change management initiatives both department wide and firm wide. The individual will take responsibility for business deliverables which feed into the firm’s strategic objectives and operational effectiveness. The role provides an opportunity to identify and change processes to enhance efficiencies and promote innovation.
Specific responsibilities- Support the CAO and CoS for the CAO deliver on their objectives by supporting decisions, communicating messaging, managing internal and external stakeholders and delivering change.
- Business management including commercial contract management, vendor strategy, budgeting and forecasting.
- Tackling business challenges through data analysis and modelling and business process reengineering.
- Departmental management including townhalls, offsites and other departmental effectiveness focussed initiatives.
- Producing material where required on behalf of the business unit for committees and other stakeholder groups.
- Change Management – managing cross business unit business and regulatory change along with AI transformation.
- Supporting on CAO Office direct responsibilities including Man’s Insurance program and Corporate Sustainability.
- 4+ years’ applicable work experience.
- Strong analytical and technical capability.
- Strong interpersonal skills: able to establish and maintain a close working relationship with a wide range of stakeholders. Must be able to communicate with senior stakeholders effectively.
- Highly organised self-starter with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and competing business demands and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear, concise, and professional communication (both written and verbal) with internal and external partners.
