About us

The Earthshot Prize  is the world’s most impactful and prestigious environmental award. At the heart of our mission is a simple equation:
Urgency + Optimism = Action. Inspired by President John

F. Kennedy’s moonshot challenge, The Earthshot Prize  is designed to mobilise a decade of action for the planet. We identify, celebrate, and back ambitious climate leadership from every corner of the globe. From Indigenous communities to city leaders, entrepreneurs to governments, they are all working to solve our planet’s greatest challenges. We focus on five key Earth shots:
Clean Our Air, Fix Our Climate, Revive Our Oceans, Build a Waste‑Free World, and Protect and Restore Nature. Each year, we select a group of 15 Finalists and award 5 of them £1M each to help advance or replicate their work and recognise their achievement and potential. The Earthshot Prize  is about more than recognition, it’s the world’s most ambitious network connecting innovators, funders, businesses, and communities to back climate leaders and restore confidence in our ability to save the planet.

About

the job

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our ambitious and successful Partnerships Team.

This role will primarily provide support for all elements of our work with Founding Partners. It will focus on the end‑to‑end grant management process, including the ownership and delivery of partner reports, supporting new proposals, and coordinating event invitation lists and general communications. Additionally, the new role will provide support to help secure new Founding Partners as appropriate. Founding Partners are key strategic partners of the Prize, providing essential support that enables the full breadth of our work, including high‑level (£m) funding as well as bringing expertise, networks, talent, and passion to support both the Prize and our Finalists.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, an excellent communicator, and confident working with senior stakeholders. You’ll need to be proactive, flexible, and excited about pitching in across a range of tasks. The role also offers excellent opportunities to get involved and develop your skills and experience at a critical point in the decade.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee all administrative elements of our Founding Partners, which includes tracking reporting requirements, grant administration and timely thank you follow‑up.
  • Ensure the timely fulfilment of any individual stewardship plans required by members of the Founding Partner Group.
  • Manage the delivery of excellent quarterly reports to the Founding Partners, establishing a calendar to collate and manage the production of these reports in consultation with the Head of Founding Partners.
  • Support the onboarding of new Founding Partners to Earthshot, including ensuring contracts, thank you correspondence and initial meetings are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manage, in collaboration with the Events team, the guest lists and invitation process for key Earthshot events annually.
  • Coordinate diaries and scheduling for partner meetings and key team members, ensuring effective planning and time management.
  • Act as a key internal point of contact for coordinating partnership‑related activity across teams.
Candidate criteria Essential
  • Experience working in partnerships, fundraising, philanthropy, or stakeholder engagement environments.
  • Experience supporting grant administration, payment coordination process, donor reporting and/or proposal writing.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in working with senior and high‑profile stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in document formatting, scheduling, and logistics.
  • A collaborative and flexible mindset – willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in CRM system management (Salesforce is desirable).
  • Ability to work with discretion and professionalism, particularly when handling sensitive information.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting in‑person donor engagement…
