As Commercial Leader, part of GE Vernova's Onshore Wind International (ONWI) team, you will lead cross‑functional deal teams to develop competitive and compliant commercial offers, shape contractual positions, negotiate agreements, and secure contract awards in line with GE policies and risk frameworks. You will work closely with Sales, Technical, Legal, Risk, Finance, Tax, and Project Management to ensure alignment across all stakeholders while driving a clear winning strategy.
Responsibilities- Develop proposals and may negotiate with customers to ensure deals deliver shareholder value.
- Drive competitive pricing and compile and submit required tender documentation.
- Develop specialized knowledge of the latest commercial developments in your area and use communication skills to influence others.
- Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within your area of responsibility.
- Apply in‑depth knowledge of best practices and understand how your area integrates with others.
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems related to projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers.
- Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Use internal and limited external sources outside your function to arrive at decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- 10+ years of relevant commercial, sales, or contract negotiation experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including experience working with virtual project teams.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a collaborative working style.
- Comfortable engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven skills in process analysis, problem solving, and strategic thinking.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to make sound decisions in the face of ambiguity or conflicting data.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and work intensively during key negotiation periods.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interest in technology and renewable energy.
- Background in sales, contracts, or customer‑facing roles within the renewable energy sector.
- Experience negotiating high‑value, complex contracts.
- Knowledge of wind turbine technology and project execution.
- Experience in tendering, sales, or roles requiring extensive customer interaction.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching capabilities, including across virtual teams.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach.
En tant que Responsable Commercial, au sein de l'équipe Onshore Wind International (ONWI) de GE Vernova, vous serez chargé(e) de piloter des équipes pluridisciplinaires afin de développer des offres commercial es compétitives et conformes, préalablement à la négociation et à la conclusion de contrats portant sur la fourniture et l'installation des éoliennes terrestres de GE Vernova.
Responsabilités- Développer les offres commercial es ; peut être amené(e) à négocier avec les clients ; s'assurer que les accords créent de la valeur pour les parties prenantes ; piloter une stratégie de prix compétitive.
- Préparer et soumettre la documentation requise dans le cadre des appels d'offres.
- Développer une expertise spécialisée sur les évolutions commercial es les plus récentes dans son domaine et utiliser ses compétences en communication pour influencer les parties prenantes.
- Contribuer à l'élab oration de la stratégie et des politiques, et garantir leur mise en œuvre dans son périmètre de responsabilité.
- Posséder une connaissance approfondie des meilleures pratiques et de l'intégration de son domaine avec les autres fonctions ; disposer d'une bonne compréhension de la concurrence et des facteurs de différenciation sur le marché.
