Role purpose

The Program Events Manager owns the end-to-end production and delivery of Insight

This is a content-led event production role. You will not be expected to be the subject-matter authority on people analytics & HR Transformation. You will, however, need the curiosity and editorial judgement to understand the issues that matter to senior people analytics and HR practitioners, ask the right questions and translate expert input into compelling agendas and session formats.

This position reports to the SVP & Managing Director Program & Research

Salary Range: 50, GBP per annum

Core event portfolio

The role is primarily accountable for the successful delivery of Insight
222’s client program events, including:

  • Any new program event formats introduced as the client offering develops

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted industry research and use stakeholder input to develop event briefs, themes and intended outcomes.
  • Translate expert and client input into coherent agendas, session descriptions, discussion questions, speaker briefs and facilitator guides.
  • Design session formats that encourage meaningful peer exchange, practical learning and strong client participation.
  • Ensure program event content is connected across the year and aligned with the positioning and objectives of the People Analytics & HR Transformation programs.

Speaker and facilitator management

  • Work with Insight
222 colleagues to identify relevant client speakers, external contributors, facilitators and internal experts.
  • Manage invitations, confirmations, briefing calls, deadlines and all speaker communications.
  • Help speakers shape their contribution for the audience and ensure content is relevant, clear and aligned with the purpose of the session.
  • Coordinate speakers and facilitators so that roles, transitions, timings and expectations are understood before the event.

End-to-end event production and logistics

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, production schedules, responsibilities and deadlines for every event.
  • Own venue sourcing and coordination, catering, room setup, audiovisual requirements, virtual-event platforms, materials and other supplier requirements.
  • Manage invitations, registration, attendee communications, response tracking and relevant attendee information in collaboration with Client Success.
  • Coordinate internal staffing and ensure every event has the appropriate facilitation, technical and operational support.
  • Lead event-day production and resolve issues calmly and effectively, whether attending in person or coordinating through trusted on-site contacts.
  • Ensure presentations, event materials and follow-up resources are accurate, consistent, accessible and published promptly.

Budget, measurement and continuous improvement

  • Develop event budgets with the leadership team, obtain quotes, track commitments and expenditure, and deliver within agreed budgets.
  • Maintain accurate registration, attendance and engagement data.
  • Develop feedback surveys and concise post-event reports that assess experience, relevance and opportunities for improvement.
