What the job is about

As Claims Executive, you will be responsible for the swift processing of data to DWP's Provider Referral and Payments system (PRaP) administered contracts. You will be completing reconciliations to ensure all claimable outcomes have been processed in line with contractual guidance delivery. Further, you will be comfortable liaising with other partners and the relevant in-house team in all instances where a discrepancy in the process has been identified.

You will have a good Excel background including the ability to use and understand formulas such as - V-Lookups, Match, Index and Pivot Tables.

The role has many repetitive duties carried out daily so you will need excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly in order to deal with the high volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily reconciliations of data from multiple systems to accurately reflect performance.
  • Monthly reconciliations to DWP MI packs to ensure customer service standards are met.
  • Claiming Outcomes for DWP employability contracts.
  • Uploading data to internal/external systems with complete accuracy and in a timely manner to meet KPIs.
  • Producing reports, answering queries, and resolving issues to provide support internal stakeholders.
  • Using automations systems to record data, ensuring they are accurate and fixing issues within the coding.
  • Handle changing workloads to cover A/L and sickness.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as the DWP.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience of the use of Excel. Ability to create and read nested formulas. Skills including X-Lookups, If statements, Count and Match formulas and Pivot Tables.

Analytical approach to problem solving.

Experience with Microsoft 365. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Office applications.

Ability to work under pressure, clear communication, and ability to report issues.

Personal attributes will include effective:
Influencing, Attention to Detail, Target Orientation, Drive & Resilience, Verbal Communications and Customer Service skills.

A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma

GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.

Experience of the use of database systems to input data and interrogate information and produce reports.

Ability to work in a timely manner with complete accuracy.

High levels of concentration coupled with excellent attention to detail.

Fluency in more than one language is desirable
