Product Manager
We’re working with a fast-growing technology business using AI and large-scale data to transform how organisations conduct due diligence and risk research.
This is an opportunity for a technically confident Product Manager to take ownership of the data, APIs and integrations that sit at the heart of the platform. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving environment and work closely with Engineering, commercial teams and enterprise customers.
The RoleAs Technical Product Manager, you’ll own the technical side of the product across three closely connected areas: external data sources, the way the platform processes and investigates that data, and the APIs and integrations connecting it with customers’ existing systems.
This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable reading API documentation, mapping data flows and working through technical trade-offs with engineers.
You’ll take problems from early discovery through to delivery and adoption, translating technical detail into a clear roadmap that both engineering teams and commercial stakeholders can understand.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own the roadmap for the external data sources feeding the company’s research platform.
- Assess new data providers based on coverage, quality, licensing, cost and customer value.
- Work with Engineering to define how data is ingested, matched, processed and presented.
- Shape how the platform uses different sources across a range of customer use cases.
- Help turn due diligence knowledge and customer needs into effective product behaviour.
- Own integrations with CRMs, onboarding platforms, screening tools and case-management systems.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements, including security, compliance and scalability.
- Own the direction of customer-facing APIs and emerging agent-based capabilities.
- Contribute to decisions around API design, versioning, backwards compatibility and developer experience.
- Create clear documentation and examples for technical customers and partners.
- Lead discovery using customer conversations, product data and market insight.
- Define success metrics and use real-world data to improve product performance.
- Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Solutions, Support and commercial teams.
We’re looking for a Product Manager with strong technical understanding who can operate confidently between customers, commercial stakeholders and engineering teams.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Product management experience within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Meaningful experience working on technical products such as APIs, integrations, data platforms or developer tools.
- A strong understanding of data products and how information is sourced, ingested, mapped, processed and surfaced.
- Confidence discussing APIs, webhooks, data mapping and authentication with engineers.
- The ability to read technical documentation and contribute effectively to technical design discussions.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger or OpenAPI.
- A track record of taking technical products or features from an ambiguous problem through to delivery.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using metrics and usage data to guide decisions.
- The ability to explain technical constraints clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach and confidence taking ownership in a fast-growing environment.
- Curiosity about AI and experience using emerging tools to support prototyping, design or product development.
Experience in due diligence, compliance, risk, governance or another data-heavy or regulated sector would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
Familiarity with LLMs, agent-based products, third-party data providers or commercial data licensing would also be advantageous.
