Planner – Social Housing Our Mission We’re dedicated to creating safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes that empower communities to thrive. Our work in social housing is about more than bricks and mortar—it’s about dignity, stability, and opportunity. Every repair we schedule, every project we coordinate, directly impacts the lives of residents who rely on us for a place they can truly call home.

The Impact You'll Make As our Social Housing Planner, you’ll be the heartbeat of our repairs and maintenance service. You’ll ensure that every job—whether it’s an urgent boiler repair or a planned kitchen refurbishment—is scheduled efficiently, completed on time, and communicated clearly to residents. Your ability to balance priorities, manage resources, and keep things moving will mean families experience minimal disruption and maximum care.

What You'll Do
Schedule and coordinate responsive repairs, planned works, and maintenance tasks for our housing stock.
Allocate jobs to operatives and contractors based on skills, location, and availability, ensuring optimal efficiency.
Monitor progress in real time, reassigning work as needed to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
Liaise with residents to confirm appointments, provide updates, and handle rescheduling with empathy and professionalism.
Use our housing management and scheduling systems (e.g., DRS, Oneserve, or similar) to track and report on job status.
Work closely with supervisors, surveyors, and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly.
Analyse performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for service improvement.

What You'll Bring
Experience in a planning, scheduling, or coordination role—ideally within social housing, construction, or facilities management.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of work without losing attention to detail.
Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
A collaborative approach, working well with both field operatives and office-based teams
