A leading global law firm with an extensive international network is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to join its Legal Project Management and Legal Operations team. The firm is recognised for its work on complex, cross-border matters and for investing heavily in operational excellence and client service innovation. Key Responsibilities of the Legal Operations AnalystSupport matter delivery - Coordinate project planning, scheduling and resourcing across live legal matters, working closely with lawyers and wider teams.
Manage financial tracking - Monitor budgets and costs, flag variances and prepare financial and client status reporting.
Drive process improvement - Apply lean principles and business process mapping to enhance the team's project management approach.
Facilitate stakeholder communication - Act as a liaison between lawyers, clients and internal teams to keep matters aligned and on track.
Contribute to global initiatives - Support post-project reviews, lessons-learned sessions and firm-wide adoption of project management best practice.
Project management grounding - 3+ years' relevant experience, ideally with a project management qualification such as APMQ or PMP.
Professional services awareness - Understanding of how a professional services environment and its financial metrics operate.
Strong technical proficiency - Confident user of Microsoft Office, Visio, Project and Power BI, plus relevant legal technology.
Analytical and organised approach - Able to multitask, prioritise and problem-solve under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Collaborative communication style - Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels and working sensitively across culturally diverse teams.
