About the Role:

We’re currently recruiting a Junior Project Controller to join our project management office (PMO) team on a full-time basis. You’ll predominantly be assisting our Project Managers with data gathering and data control tasks, looking at the commercial performance of projects, preparing and presenting reports, talking to Project Managers within the business, getting up to date information and inputting it into our internal systems.

No former Project Controller experience is necessary, however to succeed in this role you’ll need to be confident in dealing with a wide range of people; from clients to other team members. You’ll also need to possess good written and verbal communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and (with the appropriate technical training and support), be able to confidently work alone.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking company and gain valuable experience within a highly regulated environment. This role offers opportunities to develop and progress within the project management office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project planning and scheduling, helping maintain project programs and tracking progress against key milestones.
  • Assist with resource planning and forecasting, monitoring labour, materials, and equipment requirements.
  • Support the preparation of project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor change control processes, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Support compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and quality management standards.
  • Identify and elevate potential schedule delays, cost overruns, or resource constraints to senior project controls personnel.
  • Support the receipt, issue and control of project documentation.
Desired Skills and

Qualifications:
  • A high level of competence in written English.
  • A high level of competence in MS Office.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to work effectively and build relationships within a team environment.
  • A diligent attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to self-manage with high level organisational skills (prioritising tasks, respecting deadlines, methodical work).

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role.)
