Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Utilities in North West London. Salary: £65,000 - £75,000. A leading utility engineering contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own cost planning, contract negotiation, and risk management from project inception to completion, ensuring commercial success while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
Duties- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control across projects
- Manage contracts, variations, claims, and disputes
- Oversee tendering and procurement processes
- Deliver accurate cost reports and financial forecasts
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Mentor junior surveyors and foster team development
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience of working within utility/civil engineering contracting, for a utility sub contractor
