Health And Safety Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading Tier 2 fit-out and refurbishment contractor, renowned for delivering high profile commercial office projects ranging from £3 to £40 million.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring health and safety compliance across complex CAT A, CAT B fit-out, and cut & carve refurbishment projects. Working closely with site teams and project managers, you’ll help uphold and continuously improve a strong safety culture across active construction sites.

• Monitor and drive health and safety standards across multiple live project sites
• Lead site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Deliver training and toolbox talks to site teams and subcontractors
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients to promote a safety-first approach
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager role within commercial fit-out or construction projects
• Background working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractors is advantageous
• Solid understanding of CDM regulations and current H&S legislation
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (TechIOSH/GradIOSH preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and a hands‑on, collaborative approach
