CAD Draughtsman (Commercial Fit‑Out Contractor) – Permanent – Central London

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + package
Location: London, Central London

A leading glazed partitioning contractor specialising in the high‑end commercial fit‑out market offers a permanent position for a CAD draughtsperson based in London. The company’s turnover is circa £20 m and it delivers bespoke solutions up to £6 m in value to a portfolio of leading clients. Services include glazed partitioning, aluminium extrusions, drywall and joinery doorset packages, automatic sliding glass door systems, glazed fire screens, switchable glass, back‑painted glass and LED edge‑lite glass.

With over £20 m of contracts secured for the next year, the business is rapidly growing. The role involves:

• Producing accurate CAD drawings prior to manufacturing
• Scheduling materials needed for the drawings
• Attending design meetings with architects to secure drawing approvals

Required background and experience:

• Minimum 3 years as a CAD draughtsman in the construction industry for a reputable contractor
• Background in joinery and/or glazed partitioning
• Experience on commercial fit‑out projects
• Able to commute to Central London daily
