Investment Developer who specialise in the provision of PBSA and BTR developments urgently require a Cost Consultant or Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join their busy team in the delivery of PBSA and BTR schemes throughout the UK.

The company is a renowned specialist in PBSA and BTR. They have large backing and the ability to buy any site providing the numbers work. They have a contracting arm to the business although the investment arm is not forced to use this unless they are competitive.

The role is to cost manage main contractors who tender to complete the building works for these schemes. This requires consultancy or cost management experience, including pre-construction, front end, managing cost consultants, appraising and high level cost plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Cost managing main contractors
• Analysing and advising on basic drawings
• Appraising and collating contract and procure requirements
• Managing JCT design & build contracts and bespoke contracts

Each project will be turnkey, with all rooms fully fitted, and schemes will be of between £30m – £50m value.

The ideal person will have cost consultancy experience, with the ability to manage main contractors from a cost view. This is an excellent opportunity to join a client side organisation or progress your career with one of the best funded, professional, investment organisations in the UK.
