We're working with one of the UK's top five multi-disciplinary consultancies (yes that level) who are on the hunt to find a Senior Building Surveyor to join their thriving Building Surveying team in the heart of the big smoke.

If you are a Building Surveyor who can spot a defect at twenty paces have a sixth sense for dilapidations and know your way around a JCT contract without breaking into a cold sweat then this could be the role for you.

Based in the West End, you'll be delivering high-quality building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects. Expect variety, responsibility and the chance to work alongside planners, architects, project managers and cost consultants who genuinely know their stuff.

• Leading on professional instructions dilapidations, TDD, party wall matters, defect analysis
• Managing refurbishment and remediation projects from inception to completion
• Acting as contract administrator, JCT experience will be essential
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Mentoring junior surveyors (they will ask you everything)

• Obtained MRICS status (or very close and mildly obsessed with getting there)
• Strong technical building pathology knowledge
• Proven experience in both professional and project work
• Confident client-facing manner
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
• Ability to juggle deadlines
