Project Director

Location: Marylebone

CJS Recruitment are actively seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Project Director to oversee a large-scale High-rise and Volumetric Modular Construction project on commercial property in Central London.
As the Project Director you will lead and oversee this ongoing project and be responsible to ensure the work is completed according to standard, schedule and budget, undertaking effective planning to make sure the project completed is profitable.
The Project will take place on a high rise, volumetric modular property - all work will be on the internal packages as the structural work has already been completed.
As the Project Director you will have the following responsibilities:
 
* Oversee all building services and working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies.
 
* Manage materials, subcontractors, installation, procurement and drawing programmes to accord with installation and specification requirements.
 
* Manage project progress and track schedules.
 
* Act as a spokesperson on issues in site meetings.
 
* Financial management of projects, including financial forecasting and labour forecasting.
 
* Maintain close working relationships with clients, sub-contractors and internal teams.
 
* Ensure a smooth handover to the client and provide aftercare support.
Desirable applicants will have management experience with the following:
 
* High-rise Commercial projects.
 
* Internal works / packages or Interior Fit-Out works for Commercial property.
 
* Volumetric Modular projects.
Successful candidates will also have the following certificates / experience.
 
* Valid CSCS Card and SMSTS.
 
* Time Served Apprentice or relevant experience relating to the High-rise / Internal or Interior Fit-Out / Volumetric Modular projects.
 
* Consistently deliver great financial returns on projects, considering all relevant factors.
 
* Good people management and motivational skills.
 
* The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
 
* The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
