Location: City of Westminster

Project Quantity Surveyor

A leading UK property and development consultancy is now seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This role is focused on delivering education sector projects across London and the South East, and will involve working on live schemes from pre‑contract through to final account, providing full project quantity surveying services.

The Company

The successful candidate will be joining a well‑established development and construction business operating across education, residential and mixed‑use sectors. The organisation is recognised for its delivery‑led approach, strong pipeline of secured work and continued investment in its commercial and quantity surveying teams. It values technical competence, commercial awareness and clear client communication.

The Role

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will manage education projects through the full construction lifecycle, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing full quantity surveying services on education sector projects
  • Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Procurement and tendering of subcontract packages
  • Contract administration and change control
  • Valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Working closely with project managers, design teams and site teams
Qualifications
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Proven experience delivering education sector projects
  • Strong understanding of UK construction contracts

    Ability to manage costs and communicate clearly with stakeholders

    Working towards or holding MRICS or equivalent professional qualification
Remuneration

£50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
