Associate Building Surveyor

The Company

A successful and growing Building Surveying practice is now seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join their London team. The independent Building Surveying consultancy works directly with investors and developers across London and the South East. The practice provides commercial advice across dilapidations, technical due diligence, project management, insurance matters and party wall services.

As the Associate Building Surveyor, you will lead a variety of surveying instructions while supporting the continued growth of the business.

• Undertake dilapidations instructions for landlords and tenants
• Carry out building surveys and pre‑acquisition due diligence reports
• Produce feasibility studies and technical advice
• Manage construction and refurbishment projects
• Deliver expert witness and insurance‑related surveying services
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Train and mentor graduate surveyors
• Manage project workflow and resource allocation

• MRICS qualification
• Strong dilapidations experience
• Experience undertaking building surveys and feasibility studies
• Knowledge of contract administration and contract management
• Project management experience across commercial property projects
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience developing client relationships and generating new business

• £75,000 - £85,000 pa (dependent on experience)
