A modern and ambitious construction consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking greater responsibility, high-quality project exposure, and a clear pathway towards Associate level.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a consultancy that has established a strong reputation for delivering expert Cost Management services across a diverse range of sectors. Working closely with key clients and senior stakeholders, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of major projects while playing a key role in maintaining the consultancy's exceptional service standards.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys client interaction, project leadership, and mentoring junior team members. The consultancy is particularly interested in speaking with a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor who can operate independently while contributing to the wider success and growth of the business.

Senior Quantity Surveyor RoleThe Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading projects through all stages of the development lifecycle, providing both strategic and technical Cost Management services.
Key responsibilities include:- Delivering full pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services
- Preparing detailed cost plans and feasibility estimates
- Managing procurement and tender processes
- Administering construction contracts
- Producing cost reports and financial updates for clients
- Managing variations and final accounts
- Leading client meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Supporting and mentoring junior surveying staff
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
- Strong pre and post contract expertise
- Experience managing projects independently
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- £65,000 - £75,000 basic salary
