Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (dependent on level of experience) + package

A leading civil engineering and demolition contractor based in Central London is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of complex projects across multiple high‑profile sectors, delivering commercially successful outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.

This well‑established contractor specialises in delivering challenging projects across demolition, enabling works, and civil engineering. With a strong reputation for quality and safety, they operate across a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Nuclear, Infrastructure & Rail.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to final account. You will be responsible for ensuring financial control, maximising value, and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Manage project costs from inception to completion
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Risk and value management
• Liaising with clients, project teams, and stakeholders

• Demolition
• Asbestos removal
• Earthworks
• Enabling works

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or demolition
• Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge
• Experience working across complex, multi‑disciplinary projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
