Our client is an established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with an annual turnover exceeding £30 million and a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality commercial fit‑out and refurbishment schemes across Central London. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured and upcoming work, they are looking to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to strengthen their pre‑construction team.

• Reviewing tender documentation and specifications
• Preparing detailed mechanical cost estimates and take‑offs
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Value engineering and identifying cost‑saving opportunities
• Producing tender submissions and supporting documentation
• Attending client meetings, site visits and tender interviews
• Managing multiple tenders simultaneously within agreed deadlines
• Working collaboratively with design, commercial and operations teams throughout the bid process

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Mechanical Estimator position
• Proven track record successfully tendering mechanical packages valued at £5m+
• Strong commercial fit‑out and refurbishment project experience
• Good understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical building services installations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

Experience with BIM and digital pre‑construction processes would be advantageous.

• Basic salary of £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience
