Thesuccessfulcandidatewillplayakeyroleincoordinatingdailysiteactivities,ensuringconstructionworksareexecutedaccordingtoapproveddrawings,specifications,qualitystandardsandtheprojectschedule.
Thesuccessfulcandidatewillactasthetechnicalinterfacebetweenthe Project Construction Manager ,Engineering Department,subcontractorsandqualityteamswhilesupportingthesafeandefficientexecutionofallconstructionactivities.
Thepositionissite-based(futureprojectsinNottinghamshire,Essexand Aylesbury) andrequiresahands-onengineerwithstrongcoordinationskillsandapracticalapproachtosolvingconstructionchallenges.
Key Responsibilities- Supervisedailyconstructionactivitiesonsite.
- EnsureconstructionworksareexecutedinaccordancewithIFCdrawings,technicalspecificationsandapprovedmethodstatements.
- Coordinatesubcontractorsandmonitordailyworkprogress.
- Support the Project Construction Managerinplanningandexecutionactivities .
- Reviewconstructiondrawingsandidentifydiscrepanciesbeforeexecution.
- Prepareandmonitorsiteinspectionrequests.
- Coordinatetechnicalqueries(RFIs) withthe
Engineering
Department. - Verifymaterialdeliveriesandensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications.
- MonitorconstructionqualityandsupportQA/QC inspections.
- Ensurenon-conformitiesarereportedandcorrectiveactionsareimplemented.
- Assistinplanningconstructionsequencesandworkfronts.
- Coordinateinterfacesbetweencivil,mechanical,electricalandgridconnectionactivities.
- Monitorproductivityandidentifypotentialscheduledelays.
- Supportcommissioningactivitiesandpunchlistclosure.
- Maintainaccuratesiterecords,dailyreportsandprogressupdates.
- Participateincoordinationmeetingswithsubcontractorsandclientrepresentatives.
- PromotesafeworkingpracticesincooperationwiththeHSEteam.
- Bachelor'sDegreein Electrical Engineering ,Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineeringorarelatedengineeringdiscipline.
- Minimum3yearsofexperiencewithinEPCconstructionprojects.
- Previousexperienceinutility-scale
SolarPVprojects. - Experienceworkingonprojectslargerthan
20MW. - GoodunderstandingofconstructionmethodologiesandEPCprojectexecution.
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretengineeringdrawings.
- Strongcoordinationandcommunicationskills.
- Goodcommandofspokenandwritten English.
- Validdrivinglicence.
- Willingnesstotravelandremainsite-basedacrossthe
United

- Experience with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- ExperienceworkingonUKorEuropeanconstructionprojects.
- KnowledgeofUKConstruction Designand Management (CDM)
Regulations. - Familiarity with National Grid ,DNO
andICPrequirements. - SMSTS,SSSTSorwillingnesstoobtaintherelevantcertificationpriortositemobilization.
- CSCSCardoreligibilitytoobtainitpriortositemobilization.
