Project Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor (Major Commercial Project) – Westminster

O’Neill and Brennan are currently working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team, delivering a major, landmark commercial development in Westminster.

Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you will take ownership of key subcontract packages from procurement through to final account, playing a vital role in the successful commercial delivery of this flagship project.

- Procuring and commercially managing high‑value subcontract packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparing subcontract enquiries, tender analysis, negotiations and recommendations for award
- Managing subcontractor valuations, payments, variations and final accounts
- Producing cost reports, CVRs, forecasts and monthly commercial reporting
- Working closely with project, design and procurement teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities whilst maintaining effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a well‑established main contracting environment
- Previous experience delivering commercial, mixed‑use or other major building projects
- Proven experience procuring and commercially managing high‑value subcontract packages
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred)
- Able and willing to commute to Westminster
- £65,000 – £75,000 basic salary
