Assistant Site Manager Required in Central London

GVR Solutions are currently seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established Main Contractor specialising in high-end residential refurbishment and bespoke construction projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious high-end residential refurbishment scheme in Central London, supporting an experienced Site Manager throughout the project.

Refurbishment of an existing building to create 7 luxury apartments

* Project Value: £8m

* Programme: 70 weeks

* Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + package

Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Manager:

* Assist with the day-to-day running of the site

* Support the Site Manager in delivering the project safely, on time and to budget

* Monitor quality of workmanship across subcontractors

* Coordinate deliveries and site logistics

* Assist with maintaining Health & Safety standards

* Keep accurate site records and documentation

* Liaise with subcontractors and the wider project team

* Help ensure the project is delivered to programme

Requirements for the Assistant Site Manager:

* Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Foreman

* Experience with in refurbishment or residential projects is advantageous

* SMSTS

* CSCS

* First Aid

* Strong communication skills

* Keen to develop and progress within a growing contractor

* Well organised and proactive
