Role & Responsibilities Diagnose building defects across residential properties including damp, structural issues, and cracking

Carry out detailed building pathology investigations and identify root causes of defects

Prepare comprehensive technical reports outlining findings and recommended remedial actions

Produce detailed specifications for repair works aligned with project requirements

Undertake project management and contract administration duties across live projects

Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery

Monitor works on site to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards

Manage multiple projects across London and the Home Counties within agreed timelines

Skills & Experience Required Minimum five years experience as a Building Surveyor within a UK practice environmentMRICS qualified or working towards achieving chartered status

Strong experience in defect diagnosis and building pathology across residential projects

Proven ability to produce detailed specifications and technical reports

Project management and contract administration experience is preferred

Experience working on residential projects with knowledge of other sectors advantageous

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for site visits

Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workloads effectively

Salary & Benefits Salary between 40,000 and 65,000 depending on experience and suitability
