The Opportunity
An award-winning workplace design and fit out contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its delivery team in London. The successful candidate will take ownership of CAT A and CAT B fit out projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a client-facing Project Manager looking to work on high-profile workplace projects across London.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage commercial office fit out and refurbishment projects.
- Take responsibility for project delivery from mobilisation through to handover.
- Manage programmes, budgets, procurement and project risks.
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Chair client and subcontractor meetings.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Manage design coordination and resolve technical issues on site.
- Work closely with Commercial Managers to manage project costs and variations.
- Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
- Drive quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Proven experience delivering CAT A and CAT B office fit out projects.
- Track record as a Project Manager within the commercial interiors sector.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent programme and subcontractor management experience.
- Good understanding of construction processes, contracts and buildability.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS accreditation preferred.
- Experience with projects ranging from £1m to £15m+.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Able to build long-term relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
- Professional, organised and delivery-focused.
