Associate Building Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Building Surveyor to join a highly regarded property consultancy, taking a key role within an established Building Surveying team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and assume greater responsibility.

You will have a strong professional bias, providing building surveying advice to a diverse client base while heading up a team of surveyors. The role offers excellent exposure to clients, projects and business development, alongside the opportunity to play an active role in the continued growth of the team.

The Role

Lead and manage a team of Building Surveyors.

Deliver a range of professional building surveying services.

Undertake condition and dilapidations surveys and reports.

Provide technical advice to clients across a varied property portfolio.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Assist with business development and winning new instructions.

Support and mentor junior members of the team.

Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Building Surveying service.

About You

MRICS qualified Building Surveyor.

3–5 years’ post-qualification experience.

Strong professional building surveying background.

Experience managing or mentoring junior surveyors.

Excellent technical, communication and client-facing skills.

Commercially aware with an interest in business development.

Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing consultancy.
