Estimator, Construction, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

We are working with a specialist cut & carve contractor delivering projects across the commercial, residential and hotel sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their business, working on projects up to £60m in Central London.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Estimator to join a growing business at an exciting stage, given the opportunity to become an integral part of the pre-construction team.

• Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover.
• Review tender and contract documentation, identifying key requirements, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for cut & carve, refurbishment and new build projects.
• Produce detailed take-offs, pricing and bills of quantities.
• Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build strong relationships with the supply chain and develop a reliable subcontractor database.
• Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work to ensure all elements are captured within the tender.
• Prepare tender analysis and ensure pricing is commercially robust.
• Work closely with the commercial, pre-construction and operational teams throughout the tender process.
• Attend site visits and tender meetings where required.
• Identify potential risks, exclusions and value engineering opportunities.
• Assist with developing tender programmes, preliminaries and methodology information.
• Ensure tenders are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.
• Assist with the handover of successful tenders to the commercial and delivery teams
