Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit Out and Refurbs - Central London

We are working with a well-established and reputable main contractor that specialises in delivering complex refurbishment and fit-out schemes across the UK.

Due to ongoing project demands, they are now looking to appoint a Senior
Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high end fit out and refurbishment projects within London.

You will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting the successful financial delivery of the project from procurement through to final account.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
• Managing subcontract procurement and commercial negotiations
• Contract administration (JCT) and variation management
• Monitoring and reporting project costs and commercial performance
• Supporting monthly valuations and client reporting
• Managing subcontractor accounts and final accounts
• Assisting in risk and value management processes

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment projects, leading project delivery and managing teams
• Previous experience working on office, retail, commercial, or live environment projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of JCT forms of contract
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a live site environment
• Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
