Quantity Surveyor - QS

Are you an all-round QS who wants to own your projects rather than look after one small part of them?

This is a chance to get in early with a well-established West London refurbishment contractor that is growing quickly. The business has more than 20 years behind it and a reputation clients come back for, and most of its work arrives through repeat business and recommendations.

Prestigious, varied projects. You'll work on high-end residential, commercial, retail and hospitality refurbishments. Every project is different, so you won't be doing the same job twice.

Full ownership. You'll run your own small to medium projects from first price to final account and handover, and see the impact you have on each one.

Get in early. The commercial team is growing alongside the business, so there is real scope to progress and your career can grow as the company does.

Visibility. You'll work directly with the directors in a lean team where good work gets noticed and rewarded.

A package that keeps moving. Your salary is reviewed twice a year and a bonus is paid twice a year.

• Pricing and estimating, including take-offs, supply chain enquiries and building up tenders
• Contract review, plus procuring and appointing subcontractors
• Valuations, applications and subcontractor payments
• Variations, change control and cost reporting
• CVRs and forecasting
• Final accounts through to handover
• Working with clients, site teams and directors day to day

• Experience as an Intermediate QS or QS with a contractor, ideally in refurbishment
• Confidence across the full QS remit, from pricing through to final account
• The ability to run several projects at once without dropping the ball
• A commercial, hands-on attitude and an appetite to grow with a business
• A commute to Acton of around 30 minutes

• Up to £65,000 basic
