Small Works / Maintenance Manager
Building Services Company | Hybrid Working | Travel Required | Bonus
My client is a well-established building services company looking for an experienced Small Works / Maintenance Manager to join their team.
This is a varied role overseeing a portfolio of small works, reactive maintenance and planned maintenance projects, working closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
The Role
* Manage small works and maintenance projects from initial instruction through to completion
* Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and site teams
* Manage programmes, costs, variations and client expectations
* Carry out site visits and attend client meetings as required
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality
* Manage quotations, pricing and variations
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Oversee reactive and planned maintenance works
* Identify opportunities for additional works and improvements
* Provide regular project and commercial updates to senior management
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience managing small works, maintenance or building services projects
* A background within M&E / building services / facilities management
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience managing subcontractors and engineers
* Good commercial awareness
* The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* A client-focused approach
* Full UK driving licence
